What’s included in your membership?

Membership within the Texas Breastfeeding Coalition funds state-wide support to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding. Members can engage in learning, community building, and advocacy to bring the Texas BFC vision to reality. Our vision is a future where breastfeeding is recognized, valued, and supported for all families in Texas.

RED: Individual Annual Membership

The Individual Membership is for anyone who supports our mission and wants to get involved. Individual members can vote in board elections and bylaw changes. Annual memberships begin January 1, 2026 and cover the 12-month calendar year.

GOLD: Corporate Partner Membership

The Corporate Partner Membership is for businesses and for-profit organizations that want to show their support. This is a non-voting membership. Annual memberships begin January 1, 2026 and cover the 12-month calendar year.

BLUE: Associate Organization Annual Membership

The Associate Organization Membership is for nonprofit or government organizations that share our purpose. This is a non-voting membership. Annual memberships begin January 1, 2026 and cover the 12-month calendar year. The organization may be represented by up to two individuals.

WHITE: Affiliate Organization Annual Membership

The Affiliate Organization Membership is for local or regional breastfeeding coalitions, associations, committees, or task forces. Each affiliate names one delegate who may vote on behalf of the group and one alternate, both may attend meetings.

All sandwich box lunches include mixed berries, penne mozzarella salad, and a freshly baked chocolate chunk cookie. Sandwich selections include:

Fall Friendsgiving CERP Hours (Optional)

The Fall Friendsgiving: Building Breastfeeding Excellence Across Texas event includes programming and educational content for up to 4 CERP* hours. The coalition charges $10.00 per CERP* hour to cover application costs and support the Texas Breastfeeding Coalition’s operating budget and mission. The total optional CERP cost for this event is $40.00.

The Texas Breastfeeding Coalition has received approval of this program for 4 L-CERP continuing education hours as a Preferred Provider by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBCLE®). Participants will be asked to sign in and expected to attend all portions of the program to receive a the CERP certificate for continuing education hours.

TXBC Fall Friendsgiving Registration

Join us in Fort Worth for a day of learning, collaboration, and hands-on breastfeeding education.

The Texas Breastfeeding Coalition is excited to announce our 2026 Fall Membership Meeting, taking place at the North Texas Milk Bank in Fort Worth.

This year's meeting is designed to move beyond traditional lectures by combining innovative presentations with interactive skills training that participants can immediately apply in their own hospitals and communities.

TXBC has applied to IBLCE to provide 4 continuing education L-CERP hours for lactation professionals. CERP hours are charges at a rate of $10.00 per hour with funds supporting the TXBC’s mission and operational expenses. The purchase of pending CERP hours is optional and if CERP hours are not approved prior to the meeting all CERP hour purchases will be refunded.
